YZF-R1 Termignoni Slip on silencer Carbon

TERMIGNONI FOR NEW YAMAHA YZF R1

Termignoni introduces the slip on silencer for the new Yamaha YZF R1 made in carbon and titanium cuNb,the same used by the Termignoni Reparto Corse to realize the racing exhausts.
The cuNb is a special titanium alloy that has excellent formability in ambient temperature and high mechanical strength even after the 600°C
and resist oxidation above 800°C.This
allows us to reduce significantly the weight,while still providing a high level of performance and durability of
the exhaust, much higher of the systems
made of a commercial titanium alloy.
The silencer,available in carbon or titanium sleeve, is homologated and characterized by a dedicated new design.
To satisfy the request of racing users
Termignoni offer also the opportunity
to have a slip on final body without
catalyser made in titanium cuNb that
can be fitted with the original silencer
and of course with the Termignoni one.
The union with it provides a gain of about 4 HP at 13.800 rpm.
